I kept seeing Avocado Smoothies popping up at my favourite juice spots, so I decided to take a stab at making one at home. The results are in: this fad is definitely worth trying!
The Recipe makes 2 cups of a Booster Juice consistency of Smoothie
- 1/2 Cup Frozen Diced Avocado
- 1/2 Cup Frozen Mixed Berries
- 1/2 Cup Apple Juice
- 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
- 1 Cup Cashew Milk
Combine ingredients and blend for 1 minute or until smooth. If you’re not using frozen fruit, adding a few ice cubes is optional.
But can you taste the avocado?
Yes! It’s not overpowering but the rich avocado flavour is there and it adds a nice velvety smooth texture to the smoothy.
